During a very long August 16 meeting, the city council approved ATV sales at new motorcycle dealer, approved a deal with Luminant/NextEra/FPLE power plant with cash and delayed annexation, approved reconsidering the denial of Raising Canes, but not until the next meeting.
The August 04 Forney P&Z approved extra uses for the motorcycle dealer, tabled action on residential shelters, approved new site at Shafer Plaza, "south" of Huddle House.
City Council met on Aug. 02 to select John Thatcher as new city attorney; approve selling bonds and C.O.'s; denied wifi water tower contract; tabled approval of H.O.T. funds; denies Raising Cane's due to traffic safety issues.
